Adray vs. Northbeam: which to choose, and when each one fits
Short answer
Pick Northbeam if you are an ecommerce brand spending heavily across many ad channels and want multi-touch attribution, view-through measurement, media mix modeling and a media strategist from one vendor. Pick Adray if your budget sits below Northbeam's tiers, your store is not on Shopify and you want month-to-month terms, you sell through lead generation, or you want each platform's claim kept next to the orders your store recorded instead of replaced by a new modeled number.
What Northbeam is good at
Northbeam is a mature attribution product built for ecommerce brands that run experiment-based growth marketing across many channels. Its pricing page lists multi-touch attribution with customizable dashboards, view-through attribution (Clicks + Deterministic Views), Northbeam Apex to feed its conversion data back to the ad platforms, and optional media mix modeling and incrementality on the higher tiers. For a large multi-channel budget, getting all of that from one vendor, with a dedicated media strategist, is a real advantage.
When to choose Northbeam
You spend enough for Northbeam's tiers to make sense (its pricing page describes Professional for brands spending up to $500,000 a month on ads and recommends Enterprise above $250,000 a month), you want view-through, media mix modeling and incrementality in the same contract, and you value a media strategist on your account. That is what Northbeam is built for, and we would say so on a sales call.
The differences that matter
| Question | Northbeam | Adray |
|---|---|---|
| What does it cost to start? | Its pricing page lists Starter at $1,500 and Professional at $3,500 a month, with Growth and Enterprise quoted, and says the monthly price is informed by your data volume, measured in pageviews. | Adray Core is $625 a month billed annually or $750 billed monthly, with up to 200,000 sessions. Enterprise is quoted by scale. |
| What if my store is not on Shopify? | Month-to-month Starter pricing is offered to Shopify brands. Integration with any ecommerce platform is listed from Professional, and Professional and Enterprise are annual terms. | Shopify, WooCommerce, VTEX and Magento are supported on Core, each with its own order webhook pipeline, and Core can be billed monthly. |
| How does it credit a sale? | Multi-touch attribution built on its own device and identity graphs, plus view-through credit through Clicks + Deterministic Views. Its FAQ says your ad performance will look different from Meta Ads Manager, by design. | Stitches each verified order to the session and click that produced it, with an explicit confidence score, and offers last-click, first-click and linear splits. The platform's own claim stays beside it instead of being replaced. |
| Does it cover lead generation? | Its pages describe it for ecommerce businesses; lead generation is not a use case its pricing page mentions. | Yes. A second variant of the panel counts verified form fills and cost per lead instead of revenue and ROAS. |
| Media mix modeling and incrementality? | Offered: Media Mix Modeling+ is optional on Enterprise, and incrementality is optional on Professional and Enterprise. | Not offered. Adray measures order-level attribution and does not sell media mix models or lift tests. |
| Can I ask my data questions in Claude or ChatGPT? | Yes. Its pricing page lists MCP access from the Professional plan. | Yes, on Core, and the answer is computed from the reconciled data: platform claims and verified orders side by side. |
| What about support in Mexico? | Its pricing page is published in English, and its FAQ sends international or multi-store setups to its sales team. | Adray is built in Mexico: the site, the panel and the team work in Spanish, and the reporting day defaults to Mexico City time. |

Questions people ask
Is Adray a Northbeam alternative?
For a smaller ecommerce budget, a store that is not on Shopify and wants month-to-month terms, or a lead-generation business, yes. For a large multi-channel budget that wants media mix modeling, incrementality and a media strategist from one vendor, Northbeam is built for that and may suit you better.
Why would Northbeam and Adray show different numbers for the same campaign?
Because they answer different questions. Northbeam builds its own modeled performance data, and its FAQ says it will not line up with Meta Ads Manager by design. Adray credits verified orders from your store and keeps the platform's own claim beside that number, so the gap stays visible instead of being modeled away.
Can I run Adray and Northbeam together?
Yes. Both read the same ad accounts and neither requires removing the other. Comparing both against your store's own orders for a few weeks is a reasonable way to decide.
